Troon

Troon Community Sport Hub brings together local sports clubs and other community partners to develop and grow the sporting offering in the community of Troon.

Our principles:

Growth in
participation

Understanding
community need

Supporting community
leadership

Ensuring all the right
people are working together

Offering a
range of sports

We hold regular community forums to provide a platform for communication, community engagement and discussions on growth and development of sport and physical activity.

Nine sports clubs are currently involved with a total membership of over 1500 people. Troon CSH successfully applied for charitable status with OSCR approval granted in February 2017. One of the key successes of the group was helping to secure funding to create two quality all-weather pitches at Marr College.

The views and opinions of young people are very important to us and as such, we have recruited two young decision makers from Marr College who attend meetings and feedback the views of young people.
