North Ayr

North Ayr Community Sport Hub brings together local sports clubs and other community partners to develop and grow the sporting offering in the community of North Ayr.

Our principles:

Growth in
participation

Understanding
community need

Supporting community
leadership

Ensuring all the right
people are working together

Offering a
range of sports

We hold regular community forums to provide a platform for communication, community engagement and discussions on growth and development of sport and physical activity.

Eight sports clubs are currently involved with a total membership of over 1500 people. In the summer of 2018, we held a multisports event at Newton Park that saw more than 100 people turn up to take part in a range of different sports including handball, athletics, football, rugby, basketball and volleyball.

With so many opportunities to take part in sport within the area, we are looking to encourage as many people as possible from the area to take up a sport.
