SAC Health & Wellbeing Team and Welfare Officers coordinated weekly sport and physical activity sessions for care experienced young people in South Ayrshire.

South Ayrshire Council’s Health & Wellbeing Team and Welfare Officers coordinated a projected that saw care experienced young people in South Ayrshire given the opportunity to take part in weekly sport and physical activity sessions. 10 venues in South Ayrshire provided 18 care experienced young people with a five week programme of sport and physical activity during the school summer holiday period.

Sessions were run following the Scottish Government guidelines.
